Stock Market Game

        Over a ten week session my students undertook sample investing by playing the Stock Market Game, whose website is below.   This realistic  simulation provided students with a mock $100,000 and gave them 10 weeks to research possible investments  in stocks, bonds and futures.  Knowledge of basic and esoteric concepts  and investment strategies were provided along with  guidance about the risks and rewards of the global markets.   In two separate years, a team in my class earned the greatest profit and finished in first place, beating out thousands of other competing teams in New York City, and earning them a cash prize and an honorary luncheon at a Wall Street investment firm.
